 In class we read chapter 5 in the great gatsby.Including a worksheet asking questions about the chapter.The chapter included gatsby going to his house and wanting to invite one a old friend.The old friend was a female who he had feeling for and hadnt seen for 5 years.It was daisy.Eventually they met up at the house and while they were confronting each other gatsby decided to dress proper.Be well dressed and be romantic with flowers to show some respect and kind attitude for not seeing her and because he wanted her to feel special.By the time gatsby got closer and came to the time of daisy meeting him he began to be nervous.He felt lighheaded and the reason was because he liked her but felt what if something goes wrong he was just nervous meeting her.Later on they have good communication and lead up to talking about how he got his house ,how much it cost.What gatsby was trying to do was make him known that he's a wealthy and a well respected man by his clothing .He wants her to know he could take care of daisy

 As a class we were given an assignment talking about our culture.we create a poem talking about the culture.what is it.where is it, and whats interesting about the country.Every place has a special meaning to their name or place.Well my culture is Guatemala.And Guatemala is a place in south america of  south east of Mexico.Guatemala flag   has two blue stripes that represent that the nation is locked between the Pacific and Atlantic oceans, while the middle white stripe represents peace.In the middle theres a bird called  The Resplendent Quetzal. The national bird lends its name to the Guatemalan currency.  Guatemala is best known for its  volcanic landscape, fascinating Mayan culture and the colorful colonial city of Antigua
